Bishop Melda Williams Pastor David Lawe First Lady Michele Lawe Our History Statement of Faith Mission Statement

Pastor David Omar Lawe is a dynamic and prolific preacher of the Gospel. His message of reconciliation and restoration has drawn many to Christ but more importantly has ushered many to their rightful place of authority within the Kingdom.

His story is one of humble beginnings but a testament to what one’s faithfulness to Christ and one’s magnitude of faith can accomplish through relentless pursuit of God. He is man after God’s own heart and “pants” after him in worship just “as the deer pants for the water brooks.”

Pastor Lawe currently serves as Pastor of More Grace Redemptive Center located in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn. He was appointed to that office by Bishop Melda B. Williams, the Senior Leader and Chief Prelate of Grace Churches Redeemed Through Christ, a fellowship of newly birth churches throughout Brooklyn.

Pastor Lawe has over thirteen years of ministry experience and has served the sheep of God in many capacities. He has an extensive education. He holds a Bachelors of Theology from Lighthouse Christian College jointly with More Grace Bible College and Seminary; has completed Chaplaincy certification in New York State; has completed a secular Associates degree in Education from Kingsborough Community College; a Bachelors of Science in Corporate Communications from Baruch College of the City of New York. Aside, from his secular education, Pastor Lawe is an avid student of the Bible and gains new insight and fresh revelation from the word.

In 2010, Pastor Lawe received a mandate from the Lord to go back to his hometown of Jamaica and to bring the people a fresh word. His first Jamaican revival was held in the city of Kingston last year. While there he gave back extensively to his Old Primary School; in the form of books, book bags and school supplies to the children. And through the More Grace Redemptive Center Outreach Ministry of Helping Hands, was able to distribute food items within the local community. As a result of him taking Jamaica by storm, an outpouring of the Holy Spirit was received as shackles were broken and hope was restored. The Islanders amiably referred to him as a, “Powaful likkle man.”

Pastor Lawe is married to Prophetess Michele Lawe who serves jointly with him in the ministry. Their marriage is ordained by the Lord and is established on many years of solid friendship. He calls her his best friend and the keeper of everything that is sacred to him. They have two children, Lawrence and Jordan, and a granddaughter Destiny who Pastor affectionately calls, “lil mama” She is indeed the apple of his eye and he is her, “papi.”

Pastor Lawe is a mover and shaker in the Kingdom; and he preaches like a giant. You will indeed be blessed by the ministry that God has given him.
