MORE THAN ENOUGH I recently reflected on the passage of scripture which tells the story of the little boy who brought his lunch to a gathering of the multitudes who were relentlessly following Jesus. During my impromptu reflection I paid specific attention to the dynamics of the story which entailed:
This for me is a clear indication that God is no respecter of persons, neither is He restricted by time. This means that the same power that He has back then to take a lunch for one, and transform it into not just much but more than enough is the same ability He wants to resonate in your life today. God does His best work with our little. When we give Him the little, insignificant, minute, broke and barely enough that we tend to hold onto; He takes it, blesses it and gives it back to us, “More Than Enough.” So as we are captivated by our Master’s love, let’s give Him our little and receive His blessing more than enough. Love, Pastor David O. Lawe |
